So yesterday ComingSoon posted up new hi-res images of Captain America: The First Avenger featuring Chris Evans as the titular character and Hugo Weaving as Red Skull.o check it out:
I think it looks okay. They've done a good job wearing down the uniform into a more believable, realistic attire for the Avenger's universe. But what the heck are those things in the background of the first pic?
The film is being directed by Joe Johnston, who you may have probably seen helming movies like Hidalgo, October Sky, Jumanji and The Pagemaster. Personally I don't think this movie is going to be any good. Cause Johnston is literally incapable of making a realistic war character or movie without swaying into children fantasy. I always pictured this movie to be Saving Private Ryan-like but only time will tell.
